New and Unique to the Little Miracles Baby Massage Classes are the Baby Massage Reunion Sessions in the Glenview Hotel
5 week group course
This is a fun and relaxing course for parent and baby during which you will learn the wonderful ancient art of baby massage.
The size of our group classes is limited to 6 mothers and 6 babies, this restriction is needed to allow a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere during class for all involved.
In this 5 week course you will learn all about the benefits of baby massage, I will teach you a full body massage for your baby and explain to you how baby massage can help combat little baby issues like colic, constipation, agitation and more. But most of all, our focus goes to the parent and baby "dialogue" during the massage. You will learn how to "read" your baby, which in turn will help you become an expert in responding to your babies individual needs.
Time and venue of Group Course: Wed. mornings, 11.00h till 12.30h in Birdland, Willow Grove, Delgany, Co. Wicklow (Just off N11, Kilcoole - Greystones exit)
Note: New venue for this course!
Costs: 120€ including Massage Oil and hand-out-notes
This same course is also available for
Group Of Friends In Own House
Costs: 120€ for 4 week course (group of min. 3 mothers and babies)
Private One-To-One Sessions
For "Fussy" babies or babies suffering from colic, I recomment that you take a private session. During this session I will listen to your concerns about your baby, help you assess the situation and teach you a specific "colic relief routine". The colic relief routine is not included in the group course, because luckily enough most babies don't suffer from colic. This specific tummy massage routine will help colicy babies feel more relaxed and comfortable, but it is not an instant remedy and needs to be repeated at least 3 times daily (or more).
Private sessions are also very much recommended for babies coming home from the Special Care Unit. These babies have often been exposed to very stressful situations and the parents may feel like they have missed out on some of the initial "bonding process" or maybe feeling nervous in handeling a small baby. In all of these cases, baby massage can be very beneficial for parents and baby.
Relaxing Baby Massage Session:
A once off private baby massage session during which I teach you a short and relaxing baby massage routine for those not able to attend a 4 week group course.
Costs of Private Sessions: 60€ per session
Private one-to one course
For those not able to attend a scheduled group course or if you just prefere to take this course in the comfort of your own house, a 4 week one-to-one course can be arranged at a time suitable to you and your baby.
Costs: 200€
"Little Miracles" baby massage courses and private sessions both include a “Mum and Baby Pure Massage Bar” from “TherapyAroma” and hand-out notes on baby massage.
I recomend using a “Massage Bar” instead of the massage oil from a bottle. The massage bar used for this class is made up of cocoa butter and shea nut butter, all natural and safe for babies delicate skin. By rubbing the massage bar in your hands, it will slowly start meltin, allowing you to massage your baby without having to worry about bottles falling over, spilling your oil and staining your towels. Please visit the website www.therapyaroma.com to find out more about Emma's wonderful handmade aromatherapy products for mum and baby.
Baby Massage is refunded by health insurances!!!! VHI, Vivas and Quinn Healthcare could refund up to 100€ towards the cost of Baby Massage when carried out by members of the International Association of Infant Massage (Irish Chapter is Baby Massage Ireland). Refunds depend on the healthcare scheme you have signed up for with your healthcare insurance company.

Testimonials:
"After 2 weeks of
practicing the "Colic Relief Routine" 3 times daily, Andrew's colic
improved dramatically. We enjoy the massage so much that 4 months later
we are still doing the tummy massage every day. He now lifts up his
vest as soon as I open the poppers and smiles as he sees me taking the
massage bar. With a big smile on his face he lifts up his tummy to me,
it's so cute!"
